dForce Alerts (Analytics)

APPLICANT INFORMATION

Applicant Name: Shay
Project Name: dForce Alerts (Analytics)
Project Description: dForce Alerts will develop an analytics system that provides real-time data, reporting, and alerts for the dForce community, focusing on expanding user engagement and attracting new users to the dForce ecosystem.

This proposal addresses the growing need for reliable and accessible analytics and reporting tools in the expanding dForce ecosystem.

While the current statistics provide valuable information for dForce users within the platform, our system offers a unique approach to engage and market to users outside of the dForce community. By providing the statistics directly on social networks such as Twitter, we can reach a wider audience and potentially attract new users who may not be familiar with dForce. This differentiates our solution from the data displayed on dashboards, as it focuses on expanding the user base and increasing engagement beyond the existing community.

Team Members and Qualifications:

Our team is a group of developers who have a strong background in deploying protocols and participating in hackathons. We have a deep understanding of the DeFi space and are committed to providing valuable analytics to the dForce community through dForce Alerts. We have been granted by Velas Blockchain, Aptos and Redlight Chain in the last six months and won the latest hackathon in Paris.

SECTION 3: GRANT OBJECTIVES AND EXECUTION

Objectives: dForce Analytics will support community engagement and attract new users to the dForce ecosystem by providing real-time analytics and data alerts. The primary objective is to increase active users and interactions within the dForce Analytics platform.

Key Performance Indicators :

  • Number of active users on the dForce Analytics platform
  • Interactions and engagements within the dForce community
  • Increase in dForce adoption rate among new users

How will receiving a grant enable you to foster growth or innovation within the dForce ecosystem?: The grant will help us to develop and deploy the dForce Analytics system, providing data to the dForce community. It will help dForce’s growth by attracting new users and increasing engagement.

Justification for the size of the grant: The grant size is justified based on the scope of the project, including development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance costs, ensuring the successful implementation of dForce Analytics.

  • Developer compensation for the members involved in the project.
  • Server and hosting costs for deploying and maintaining the analytics system.
  • Ongoing maintenance and support to ensure the system’s continuous operation and improvements.

Execution Strategy: We will execute the project by developing the dForce Analytics system as per the proposed roadmap. Resources will be allocated mainly to backend development and hostings. Regular updates will be provided on the dForce thread, and bi-weekly program updates will be shared as agreed upon.

Grant Timeline: The project will follow the proposed timeline, with a detailed breakdown of tasks and milestones as outlined in the roadmap. The timeline ensures timely development, testing, deployment, and user feedback gathering.

  • Week 1: Gather requirements, finalize technical specifications, and set up the development environment.
  • Week 2: Implement data collection and processing components, integrate with dForce API, and develop the analytics and reporting functionalities.
  • Week 3: Build the branding, incorporate visualizations, conduct testing and address any bugs or issues.
  • Week 4: Deploy the dForce Analytics system, monitor its performance, gather user feedback and make necessary optimizations.

The first version of the system will be deployed on a Telegram channel for community and team @dForceAlerts.

SECTION 4: PROTOCOL DETAILS

What date did you build on dForce?: We can start ASAP.

Protocol Performance: Our goal is not only to provide analytics and reporting for the existing dForce community but mostly to attract new users to the protocol. We believe in the importance of reaching a wider audience and introducing them to the benefits of the protocol. We will bring new users to the protocol by leveraging our analytics system and implementing its own marketing and engagement strategy. By aligning with the community’s needs and preferences, we can make the analytics system as efficient and valuable as possible for dForce and its users, which is why we will work with the community and contributors by gathering feedbacks and consulting the users in the data choice and display.

We have worked with Velodrome and Maverick and gathered a community of 2000+ users in the first week.

Protocol Roadmap: The protocol will leverage smart contract data, APIs, governance information, transaction history, and other relevant metrics to generate meaningful reports and visualizations. The system will include features such as real-time analytics, market trend analysis, and governance updates. The team will consist of experienced developers skilled in Python and Vue JS/Typescript.

  • Develop a real-time analytics system that covers key metrics, market trends, and governance updates.
  • Implement data collection and processing components, integrating with dForce.
  • Build an intuitive branding with visualizations to present the analytics and insights effectively.
  • Conduct rigorous testing to ensure accuracy and reliability of the analytics system.
  • Deploy the dForce Analytics system and gather user feedback for continuous improvements.
