Project description: Our mission is to increase awareness and understanding of Web3, blockchain, and DeFi in Indonesia through educational initiatives and community engagement.

The Web3 Initiative is a comprehensive educational and community engagement project aimed at fostering a deeper understanding and widespread adoption of Web3, blockchain, and decentralized finance (DeFi) technologies in Indonesia. Our mission is to bridge the knowledge gap, empower both tech and non-tech enthusiasts, and contribute to the growth of the Web3 ecosystem in the country.

As part of our initiative, we will be conducting Seminars & Workshops, creating TikTok Education Content in Bahasa Indonesia, and organizing Meet-ups & Hackathons. These activities are designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience and foster a strong community around Web3 technologies.

Web3 Initiative: Exploring the Future: Web3, Blockchain, and DeFi by HIMA-BD

*Himpunan Mahasiswa Bisnis Digital Institut Bisnis dan Teknologi Indonesia (HIMA-BD) is an organization made up of INSTIKI students who focus on the field of digital business. The organization aims to deepen its members’ knowledge and skills in the world of digital business, and help them become future leaders and innovators in this field. With HIMA-BD’s involvement, we aim to leverage their expertise in digital business to enhance the effectiveness of our educational initiatives.

Indonesia (273,8 million population) ranks 7th overall in the global cryptocurrency adoption index for 2023, indicating significant interest and potential in adopting blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies. Our proposal seeks support from dForce to advance our mission of increasing awareness and understanding of Web3, blockchain, and DeFi in Indonesia through educational initiatives and community engagement. We aim to address key challenges, including limited learning resources in Indonesian, lack of awareness, and language barriers in DeFi content. Our educational initiatives involve workshops and webinars, customized for local audiences, aiming to empower both tech and non-tech enthusiasts. Community engagement, partnerships with local community, and the translation of educational materials into Indonesian will enhance accessibility.

We set measurable goals for participant numbers, social media reach, and post-event surveys to gauge knowledge enhancement. The initiative aligns with the growing economic interest in cryptocurrencies in Indonesia, presenting a timely opportunity for development. We propose a budget that covers venue, speakers, marketing, and material costs. Recognition and promotion of dForce during the event will be ensured, fostering a mutually beneficial partnership. The proposal outlines a sustainable approach with plans for continued engagement beyond the event, contributing to dForce’s broader mission and values. Testimonials and endorsements further attest to the potential positive impact of our initiative. We believe this collaboration will significantly contribute to the growth of the dForce & Web3 ecosystem in Indonesia.

  • Content Engagement: Aim to achieve 10,000 views, 1,000 followers and 1,000 likes for our TikTok educational content.

HIMA-BD has a proven track record in the field of digital business. Over the past years, we have successfully conducted numerous workshops and sharing sessions, reaching a wide audience and fostering a deeper understanding of digital business technologies. Here are some of our notable achievements:

1. Workshop on Business Model Canvas: We held a workshop on the Business Model Canvas, which is a strategic management tool for developing new business models. This workshop helped participants build a strong foundation for their businesses with a digital mindset.

2. Teaching Business and AI to SMK Sanjiwani Gianyar Students: We provided education on business and artificial intelligence to students at SMK Sanjiwani Gianyar. This initiative aimed to deepen students’ knowledge and skills in the world of digital business.

3. Sharing Session on Social Media Marketing: We conducted a sharing session on social media marketing. This session was designed to help participants understand the potential of social media in generating business opportunities in the digital era.

4. Workshop on Business Model Canvas Strategy: We successfully held another workshop on the Business Model Canvas strategy. This workshop invited participants to design business strategies using the Business Model Canvas.

Our past performance serves as a strong foundation for the Web3 Initiative. We plan to leverage our experience and expertise to successfully implement this project and achieve our objectives. We will closely monitor our KPIs and continuously adjust our strategies to ensure the success of our project.
